Grungy Valentine

I don't really do valentines....neither my other half or I really pay it that much attention, but I was inspired by several challenges this weekend so have made a grungy attempt at a 'love' themed card.
I started off by making my own background with distress inks, old dictionary pages, washi tape, texture paste, stencils, stamps and ink sprays.

The heart is hand cut and covered in metal foil before being run through a texture fade embossing folder and 'grunged' with black paint. I also added some text stamping. The wings are stamped fantasy fibre which have a shimmer in reality and I just added stamped words and some black jewels.
I'm sharing my card here -

A Vintage Journey - Industrial
The Artistic Stamper - HeArt Art
Craft Stamper - Text Me
Country View Crafts - make your own background
Try It on Tuesday - A Fine Romance
Stamps and Stencils - Splatter, Spritz, Smoosh

Thanks for stopping by..Happy Crafting..Esther xx
