I've been on a bit of a roll this weekend at my craft desk and I've created another scrapbook page...mind you I've got ten years worth of photos to scrap so I could do with getting on with them. These are photos from a weekend break with friends in Great Yarmouth - my other half Pete and his brother Tim getting dizzy !!
I started with a pale sheet of 12x12, sprayed with Dylusions ink sprays then added splats of Cosmic Shimmer mist in Red Lava. I also trimmed the page down and stuck it to a patterned piece of Echo Park 12x12 to create a border - having gutted the Echo Park paper first.
I used the sketch from 'Scrapmuch? challenge for inspiration and stuck to it fairly literally - as it's been ages since I scrapped I'm finding sketches really helpful to get back into the swing of things.
Once the dye inks were dry I scribbled a circle then layered the photos with patterned paper, a piece of a tag coloured with distress inks and some die cut stars (cut from the gutted Echo Park paper). The title is created with letter stickers and I added dots of Aqua stickles glitter glue for finishing touches.
I'm also sharing this at 'Scrap our Stash' where the challenge is to use something beginning with each of the letters in the word LAYER. I used -L - letter stickers
A - Aqua stickles
Y - yellow
E - Echo Park paper
R - Red Lava cosmic shimmer mist
We're off on our Holidays this week so I'll have even more photos to scrap, maybe I can squeeze another layout in amongst the packing tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by...Happy Crafting...Esther xx
