Hi - over at Fashionable Stamping Challenges our new theme for this month is 'Words'. I love using book pages, text stamps and quotes on my projects so this was right up my street and I created a Journal page for Journal 52 prompt Gratitude. The background of the page is created using Colourcraft Aquawax (a new product to me) which I randomly spread over the centre area of white cardstock. Once dry I applied Alcohol ink leaving some white space and then blended Walnut stain distress ink. Finally I used a JOFY stamp to add the hint of texture.
The image is from our sponsors FLONZ and I've stamped it in Stazon over an old book page, then layered on Tim Holtz patterned paper and burlap.
I wanted it all to give the idea of being grateful for my family - particularly my nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews who bring such joy hence the images of children.
I'm sharing my page here -
