Fashionable Surprises..

Hello all – I hope those of you that celebrate had a lovely Christmas, we did in our house but all too quickly it’s gone ! Over at fashionable stamping though we are still in a little bit of the festive spirit as our last challenge of 2012 is our own little secret Santa, brilliantly suggested by Joanne…we have each made a project which will be posted out to one of our team members, but we don’t know who we are getting it from till it arrives – yipee I love surprises ! So – the theme for all of you out there is ‘surprise us’. All you have to do is post a surprise on your blogs for us to visit. My project is a paper Mache book box -
Esther26
I started with a layer of gesso and some texture paste through a harlequin stencil before adding acrylic paint, distress crackle paint and some stamping.

I cut the letter from grungeboard and applied crackle paint. It’s an E (for me!) currently, but I have stuck it temporarily so I can change it for the letter of the person I’m sending it too. I added flowers, chit chat stickers, die cut flourishes (Marianne creatable dies) dots of stickles and some gold rub n buff to highlight edges.

and here is a little pic of the back

So – all you have to do is create whatever takes your fancy and post it so we can come and be surprised…remember there MUST be some stamping on your project, NO digi stamps please.

I'm sharing my altered book box here -
