Hello – well I think I must be doing something wrong because blogger ate another scheduled post, so this should have appeared yesterday for our latest challenge over at the Craft-room. The lovely Mervi chose ‘Sport’ as our theme , quite appropriate here in the UK what with Wimbledon just finishing and building up to the Olympics. Here is my card -
I have to admit I struggled a bit as I’m not into sport at all, and have limited supplies for this theme, however I managed to find this cricket stamp (which I painted with Distress Inks) in the depths of my collection and added the Tim Holtz circles stamp across the bottom. I stamped the image twice and cut out the cricket ball, layering it with 3d foam and adding glossy accents to give it some shine.
Our sponsor this challenge is Tanda Stamps who produce some great designs, so share your sporty creations with us and maybe you’ll convince me it’s not so bad after all !!
So frustrating for you Esther, its such a stylish card not your favourite theme maybe but you'd never guess from this XOXO Zoe
ReplyDeleteI think this is great Esther, I love how you've made a feature of the cricket ball and those circles look perfect across the bottom.
