Hello all...we actually had some lovely sun at the weekend and so I haven't don't much crafting, but I did have to make a card for my mum's birthday so I combined it with making my sample for this weeks Craft-Room Challenge. Maria has challenged us to use fabric on our creations. This is not something I do a lot of so it was nice to try something a bit different.
I stamped onto some cream fabric and stuck this onto some cross stitch fabric (I think this has a name but can't remember it - EDIT - It's called Aida, Thanks Jean!). I used a stamp addicts fern stamp on the card base and a quotation stamp on to some sticky back canvas which I layered onto some contrasting card. The other DT members have made some fantastic fabric creations so do pop over to Craft-Room Challenge site to check them out.
We are being sponsored this week by Indigo Blu who make some beautiful stamps.
We would love to see what ideas you come up with for using fabric and don't forget there will be a lucky randomly drawn winner and Maria will be choosing her top 3! Speaking of which apologies for anyone who entered the embossing challenge that I haven't visited yet - I'm still working my round and will get to everyone before announcing my Top 3 next Tuesday !
