Well despite the awful wet weather here I have managed to put a little bit of spring into my day with a gorgeous floral stamp from Stamp Addicts. I made a couple of very different cards using the same stamp. For the first I coloured some card using Distress inks swiped onto a craft mat and spritzed with water. Then stamped with Black Archival Ink. I've painted round the image with my water brush and added white highlights - which I think look awful on the photo but are much more subtle IRL, think they've been highlighted even more by the camera.
The background is embossing resist using a Judikins Italian script stamp and Distress inks, and some die cut flourishes then I layered the floral panel edged it with gold wax, added some Kraft photo corners (also with touches of gold wax) and added an embossed greeting.
I'm sharing this here -
The next card is very different - same stamp, masked and stamped three times and coloured with pro-markers. I've added touches of glossy accents for some shiny texture which doesn't really show on the pic (doing well with my poor photo skills today!) and a bit of bling in the corners.
So it may be pouring with rain outside but I have a spring garden to enjoy anyway !
I'm sharing this card here -
I hope you've managed to enjoy the weekend...Thanks for stopping by..Esther xx
