Well after working on my Art Journal (see previous post) I was relaxed and enjoying my creative time so stayed at my desk and made a couple more projects. The weather here has been beautiful and spring like putting me in the mood to use fresh, pastel colours. First a card made using two colours I don’t go to often, Blue and Yellow -
The damask and corner stamps are from Debbie Moore and the sentiment is a Penny Black. I’ve stamped on manila cardstock and clear embossed before colouring over with distress ink - the embossing is a resist. The card blank is coloured with the same ink and a darker shade used to stamp the corners. Flowers, pearls and lace finish the job. I’m sharing this card here -
My next Spring themed creation is an altered box (shaped like a book) and the first project I'm sharing using Friendly Plastic which I have recently been brave enough to try and am in love with ! I first applied Gesso, then Crackle paint before stamping with leaves and flowers (stamps by Stamp Addicts).
The Friendly Plastic is embedded with buttons and beads and a flower sequin. I’m really quite pleased with how it turned out as I’m still really experimenting with FP. The box is for spare die cut letters.
I’m sharing this here -
I hope you’re all enjoying nice weather too..thanks for visiting…Esther xx

ReplyDeleteHi Esther, just noticed you entered this for Stampalot (it's gorgeous by the way), but you need to pop back and add you link again as it didn't register so none of the DT will know you entered.
ReplyDeleteI popped a note at the top of the blog as Mr L seems to playing games with us.
