WOYWW (and a little bit of Christmas)

I think in my case this week it should be W isn't OYWW as it would be quicker to discuss!! I seem to have filled the space around me leaving just that area in the middle - time for a tidy up I think!! The problem is I've got my Christmas stash out of it's drawer - and the drawer is blocked by a pile of stuff so I can't put things away - well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it - I couldn't possible tidy the pile (I've not photographed it either - maybe one for next week!).

I did turn the camera slightly to my left and snap a different pile of stuff gradually building in front of my storage drawers which as you can see is already blocking the bottom two at least...serious stacking issue going on in my craft space...Oh for a magic wand and an extra ten foot of space!

The card on my desk is what is partly to blame for the mess - made with one of my favourate Penny Black christmas stamps and using my favourate colours it's for the following challenges -

Penny Black Saturday - Purple, cream and Brown
Penny Black at Allsorts - Punch Away
Stampin for the Weekend  -  Shabby or Vintage
The Stamp Man - Musical
Sir Stampalot - All Distressed
Creative Inspirations - Anything except square or rectangle

Never made a circular card before and it was fun to do - used chalks to colour image, distress inks for background (including on the back of the vellum which is printed with a gold pattern) and the music score is stamped in Metallic Stazon which Julia was discussing just this week - it's glorious! Speaking of Julia - pop on over to her blog 'The Stamping Ground' and join in the WOYWW fun - even if you're like me and only have the time to visit a few desks each week, it's great having a nosey.  Happy WOYWW...Esther xx

  3. I made a ton of circle pieces for a swap once. I swore I would NEVER do it again. They are a pain for someone who is craft knife challenged. You did good. I can't cut for anything if it isn't straight. I see it really IS time to tidy up when you can't open your drawers (grin).
