Struggling with Scrapbooking...and a chocolate Fountain!

Oh my - what a difficult time I had yesterday - definitely distinct lack of MOJO, but am trying really hard to catch up with my scrapbook - it being September and I'm only on June! I wanted to do a page about what I was watching/listening to/reading etc during June, but found it really hard to do a page without any photos. This is what I ended up with - I used my nesties to cut journalling blocks, DI on my Background paper, and added some stamping and punched flowers. I'm not at all sure about it but, with nothing to lose I'm going to enter it into the Penny Black at Allsorts challenge 'Punches' anyway (the Harlequin and butterfly stamps are Penny Black).

And as if that wasn't hard enough I then moved on to my first July page - a night out to see our favourate rock band. Ever tried to scrapbook a rock band?...no...well I warn you don't!!  I sat desperately fumbling through my flowery papers, delicate stamps, pretty colours til I eventually came across some black/white/grey DP which had been hiding at the bottom of a drawer for goodness knows how long...and armed with just this, a music note punch and some red cardstock I threw something together. Having placed the papers and photos it was seriously lacking so I pieced together the guitar which I was actually quite pleased with in the end, but again not completely sure about the page over all.
I did question whether to even blog these as I'm not happy but - I wanted this place to be an ongoing journey of my crafting so am being brave and going for the rough with the smooth! Funnily enough while browsing before bed after finishing this page I came across Hels Sheridans post for Sunday Stampers - and this page fits  - contains red, is music themed and there is no stamping!

On another note completely I've been going through the photos of my nieces wedding last weekend and wanted to share this one -
Don't think I really need to say anything...except perhaps yummy !
