Lazing on the Beach

Feeling tired today, which is odd as I've had a very relaxing weekend  - maybe it's the heat, and speaking of which seeing as the weather has been so glorious and being inspired by a couple of challenges I thought I'd make a beach card. I've cut an aperture in a three fold card, distressed the edges and added distress inks around the outside.  I didn't want to leave it plain though so stamped with a swirl stamp using just water and added some stamped shells - I know they're not Oyster shells but I've added a few pearls too just the same.  The main image is painted with  twinkling H2O's as is the deck chair.

Ingredients
Stamps -  Rubadubadoo - shells and seagull
Create and Craft - Deckchair (E-bay Bargain!)
Judikins Seashore Cube - Beach scene
                Penny Black -simple scroll
Distress Inks - Mustard Seed
                          Tumbled Glass
                          Antique Linen

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Apertures
Totally papercraft - Swirls and Pearls
Tuesday taggers - Make a Scene
                       Crafty Calender - Summer

Right then - might have to have a sunday afternoon nap -  Blimey I sound like my gran!!
