Well, straight down to it today..this is my desk this morning (well last night but it's still the same!). Having just had my last birthday before the next milestone (where they say life begins) I have decided to scrapbook my last yr as a 30 something, it stems from an idea I came across last year to take a photo everyday, which I started but never kept up with as I was too busy and preoccupied with my degree studies. I have all sorts of ideas for topics to photograph from the shopping trip I took with my best friend for my birthday to the poppies along the banks on my way to work. My initial page is the view from the flat I share with my OH, it's the foundation from where all other things develop so was the only place to start really. On my desk as well as the finished page, are the beginnings for the next one - a spread about starting my blog !
Oh - and here's a little update on my drawers....very little progress I'm afraid, got distracted with my scrapbook so all I've managed is a base coat on some of them...will try harder this week.
Oh - and the excitement is because I'm awaiting delivery of my lusted over Compendium of Curiosities by Tim Holtz, and, more importantly (though only just!) my best friend has announced she's getting married in November. The worry is because I offered to make the invitations, then found out she's got over 140 people on the guest list - anyone for hire to do some chopping, stamping and gluing, LOL ????
Good luck with the invites!! Love the look of your journal in progress!
