I finally got around to finishing a scrapbook layout I've been working on for ages. I have years worth of photographs waiting to be scrapped and am currently working on our holiday album. These pics are from 2005 -
I started with a fairly neutral background cardstock and applied peacock feathers ink through a stencil and around the edges - I used a white pen to draw around the edges of some of the stencilled shapes and added some stamping and washi tape.
I tore some strips of contrasting paper and added to a corner of each page - adding more tape and stamping.
The Kraft letters for the title are die cut. The Turkey letters I hand drew with a black pen through a stencil, cut out slightly outside the lines, coloured with spun sugar distress stain and applied a layer of crackle glaze.
I also added some journalling, a die cut word, wooden butterflies and tickets from the trip itself.
I'm sharing my layout over at Scrap our Stash where the word is DIECUTS - so stash I've used is -
D - diecut letters
I - ink
E - ephemera
C - crackle glaze
U - uniball white pen
T - tape
S - stencil
