There are lots of heart/romance themed challenges about for Valentines so I've themed my calender with this in mind
So this is how the page was originally
I masked three heart shaped areas and slapped on the gesso - followed by assorted colours of acrylic paint which I 'stamped' with bubble wrap - with both large and small bubbles stamped an Artistic Stamper script stamp then removed the masks.
I die cut from a thin sheet of corrugated card - stripped off some of the top layer and added touches of picket fence and tarnished brass distress stain.
I then die cut hearts from various papers from my stash - gelli plate prints and book pages with dye inks, after I'd stuck them down I added stamping with a JOFY flower from PaperArtsy, borders from Hero Arts and a little solid heart.
My original idea was for my page top be a field of heart shaped flowers - but I'm not sure if they don't look more like balloons....I like it regardless...I'm also sharing this here -
