Goodness where are the weeks going, can't believe it's time for another challenge at Craft-Room. Zoe has given us two colour palettes to choose from - Spring or Autumn, please check out the pics on the challenge site. I've created another page in my Journal for Journal 52, week 9 (I'm not doing them in order!!) the prompt was to choose a colour swatch so fits perfectly with our theme. Here is my page....
I'm still a real beginner with Art Journalling and looking to learn all the time - I found France Papillon's amazing blog and her Journal on Monday Youtube videos and have used some of the techniques she shows to make my page. I started with a piece of patterned pink paper, added strips of old book pages and blended together with a layer of gesso. The circles are thicker gesso coloured with water colour pencils. The image is one I've had in may stash for ever and I've no idea where it's from and the quote is stamped with tiny Dovecraft letter stamps.

ReplyDeleteI really link love this make Esther :-) gorgeous colours and design and the sentiment is so true. Spring is my favourite season....it's like we all waken up again and like you say....we are ready to party.
