WOW - where did that fortnight go ? It's already time for another challenge over at Fashionable Stamping Challenge, thanks to all of you who joined in my Flora and Fauna theme, it's going to be tricky to choose for the Saturday Spotlight !
This time Jo has asked us to create using Script/Books/Pages/Print - lots of scope there and I love using book pages and script so have great fun making my card -
The background is embossing resist using Tim Holtz Papillon script stamp and distress inks. I've layered some embossed Kraft Glassine paper, book page stamped with dots and flourish die cut book page, and a die cut flower stamped with Judikins Italian Script stamp.
The main panel is an old book page, painted with a wash of gesso. I then glued on some pressed flowers (pressed by me!) before laying over a sheet of tissue (facial tissue not tissue paper) which I wrinkled and layered over with watered down PVA glue.
The rest of the FSC team have, as always, made some beautiful projects for inspiration, so do pay them a visit. It would be great to have you join our challenge - don't forget we MUST see some stamping, not just Digis, and the winner will be chosen at random and receive a voucher to spend over at FlonzCraft...Happy creating…Esther xx
Hi Esther. Wow...you pressed the flowers too? The colours on this are so natural and the tissue over the top is a great effect. Looove the background Esther.
