Craft-Room Vintage

Hello - wow what gorgeous weather we're having here, finally summer has arrived ! If you can tear yourself away from the garden for some crafting time we have another challenge starting today over at Craft-Room.  The lovely Julia has chosen a theme of vintage. Julia says 'in the craft world I am in my element when working with this genre.  I would like to see any vintage stamping project, but just for this challenge  no cute please.  Cute is great but for this challenge we just want to see vintage images that have been rubber stamped.'

I love vintage too and used one of my oldest but favourite stamps, some masking and distress inks. The background is another of my gelli prints - this time printed on black paper and stamped with Waltzing Mouse doily stamps.

 The Butterfly I've stamped and embossed with dark purple EP onto a scrap from the background paper. I've used lace, some old book page, washi tape and buttons to embellish.
On the main panel I've used Waltzing Mouse, Stamp Addicts and Judikins stamps after masking the lady in her fab hat.   

My fellow Roomies, as always, have produced some stunning samples, and we also have a great guest designer so please visit their blogs, I know your visits are always appreciated.
