Craft-Room travels

Hello all, this week it's Hazel's turn to choose our theme over at Craft-room. Hazel has asked us to make a postcard from a holiday destination, it can be from anywhere in the world or perhaps you've been visiting the beach or a historical place. The size of the postcard has to be 6 inches by 4 inches landscape or portrait. You can use any medium to make your postcard - digital postcards are allowed as well. hazel has asked for postcard ONLY so please no cards, layouts etc. with a postcard on.
Crafty Individuals are this weeks the sponsors for the challenge.

As usual the girls have come up with some great inspiration and we also have a fab guest designer - and don't forget if you would like to join us for a guest designer slot, just put GDT after you name on your entry. Here is my postcard -

I couldn't decide on one destination so went for a mini world tour, using stamps from Crafty individuals and Stampendous. The background is created with distress inks,

I've used an embelishment made from UTEE to add some texture. I melted the UTEE on my craft sheet before stamping into it while still soft. When it was cooled/set I applied some metallic bue paint wiht a dry brush to the back to add more detail and make it stand out a bit more. I Look forward to seeing where your travels take you -
I'm sharing my postcard here -
Allsorts - Anything but a card (am assuming this means a card in the traditional sense and that a Postcard is ok)
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Passport to fun
Artistic Stamper - texture
Thanks for stopping by, Esther
