Fashionable Debut…

For the last two weeks I’ve been eagerly awaiting my chance to make my debut with the great Fashionable stamping Challenge team, and here it is ! The theme for this challenge is Summer-Ice cream colours as chosen by Avril. I love ice cream and it’s hard to choose a fav so my sample is a mix of strawberry, lemon and pistachio – with chocolate ink ! As always Marina from Cottage Crafts is sponsoring the challenge.

I made a door hanger, inspired by a recent project in Craft Stamper magazine. Masking fluid is flicked over the base card and allowed to dry before inking – I’ve used distress inks.  I’ve then stamped assorted images in archival coffee ink (can you get coffee ice cream?).

The fashionable ladies are a stamp from Crafty individuals painted with water colours.  I used my trusty dymo to print out the ‘Do not Disturb’ warning !

I’m really looking forward to visiting everyone and seeing your ice cream creations, so please pop by and join us in our yummy challenge, we are a stamping challenge so do need to see some kind of stamping on your project - NO DIGIs and don’t forget to visit the blogs of my talented teamies for more inspiration.

You are my first visit of today (yes, a bit late in coming on-line) and have to say it is wonderful to have you as a DT sister.
This is beautiful and I love that it has a function and I see you used some of my favourite stamps.
