Postcard Challenge #1

Finally the waiting is over, it’s Friday and we are able to post our first postcards in Darcy's challenge. I would of had mine ready earlier had I not scrapped my first attempt on Wednesday and started again.  I’m not an artist, have never taken any workshops, classes etc and was quite nervous of joining in as there are so many talented people taking part but I just enjoyed myself and went for it, using new watercolour pencils and inktense blocks which I love. To find out more about the challenge visit Darcy here.
The first country is Austria and this is the card Ellie chose to send -
SD533080
and here’s what she wrote -
SD533086
I’m not a writer either so not sure how my story is going to develop, I’m really taking myself out of my comfort zone with this challenge, losing the safety of my stamps and doing something completely different, and I really enjoyed myself.

I’m off to visit the other travellers…Thanks for visiting…Esther xx

  1. Esther, You obviously are creative. Your altered doll/paperdoll rendition of your characters are wonderful - such different personalities. The watercolor flowers are lovely and you even have the mountain reflection in the water!
