Floral Christmas

Yep - still making for Christmas and still doing vintage! Yesterday I really struggled to get the mojo going so today I decided to turn back to my Craft Stamper magazines for inspiration and after leafing through a few I came across a design that I thought would work with some new kanban stamps I bought at a bargain price from E-bay!
After applying antique linen distress stain to some plain cream paper I stamped the script stamp in walnut stain and then used frayed burlap over a Tim Holtz mask. I stamped the poinsettias, coloured wiht distress inks, cut them out so I ended up with five individual flowers and layered them up with a couple of leaves. A touch of stickles to finish and there's another card to add to the stockpile.

I'm entering this over at Allsorts where the challenge is to use flowers and at Fashionable stamping where the ladies are asking for vintage.

Well it's back to work tomorrow then, hope you've all enjoyed the weekend - I know then sun is lovely but I do hope it cools down a bit !  Esther xx

  5. It all worked beautifull on this card Esther and the inking through the mask looks just like an expensive DP.
