WOYWW - or the aftermath of Fairy madness!

Hi all...well this is my desk this week (taken in the gloom of Tues night)! I knew the new year tidy wouldn't last long., and the reason is that I've been beavering away on some DT cards for Stamp Addicts with their new fairy stamps.  This is right up my street - fairies, lots of glitter, pink and girly, I've had a geat time!  This is the card I made Tuesday eve - well I made the fairy image at the weekend, stamped and embossed on embossable plastic and then glittered from behind. The picture doesn't do the glitter justice really, taken too late at night - her skirt frill and shoes are actually magenta!
I decided to use an oval frame and then regretted it as I didn't have a curved stamp to use round the edges - so I created one myself, and it was so easy  - I drew round the cutting shape I'd used to cut the oval in the card onto the back of my mounting foam.
Then after removing the backing sheet, I carefully stuck the stamp along the curved edge  - the crucial thing is not to cut around the stamp once it's stuck as the foam reshapes itself...if you have a big enough edge around the stamp it should hold.
So I was able to use this straight stamp to stamp this curved image! On the card I just joined up the flowers with some wavy lines and coloured with pro-markers.
I'm entering the card into the Playdate Cafe challenge (which is why I posted this before weds to beat the deadline!) as their colours this week were pink and cream, and also at Charisma Cardz - Mythical/Fantasy and The Secret Crafter - A Stamped Flower.
Thank you for visiting - hope you're having a creatively great week...Esther xx

The Stamp Addicts Fairy Stamps show is on 'Create and Craft' on Sat 26th Feb @ 12.00midday and the stamps are just gorgeous.
