WOYWW - better late than never....

I made it!....been in bed with a migraine all day so nearly didn't get here , but I missed last week and couldn't accept having to miss another. Not much been going on at my desk this week what with work being so busy (OFSTED inspection aarrgghh!!!) so I though I would show you this pic in sympathy with Julia's admission about her pile of yet to be cleaned stamps...here are my YTBC stamps...
and they are not even in their usual tidy box as I'm using that for something else right now!!
I don't know about you but I'm really glad the whole spooky thing is over...I was getting right fed up with challenges I couldn't enter because I don't do Halloween! I have been concentrating on my Christmas Cards and think it has now got to the time when I can mention it freely without being yelled at.  I made this card with a new stamp I bought from Stamp Addicts at a papercraft show on Sunday...I went with my mum and we had a great time - did a make and take and  spent too much money!!
So anyway - this card, I just loved this tree stamp and after stamping it twice in Brown Stazon I was really pleased with the way the Distress inks blended in the background. I added a subtle touch of glitter and the little cut out figure which I had painted with DI. Going to enter this over at Lets Ink It Up where the challenge is 'make a scene', and also ABC - G is for Glitter and Sir Stampalot - 'Christmas'

And speaking of challenges I was very excited to discover that I made it into the top three at Lets Ink It Up last week, as well as being a Ginger Gem at Gingersnaps Creations for two weeks running (26/10 and today!)..I've not had much time to blog recently and this really cheered me up after a hectic couple of weeks.

Well...thanks for stopping by, hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground for more WOYWW marvels,
Esther xx

  20. Hope you are feeling better now. Migraines can be a so-and-so. Thankfully I was recommended some tablets by a friend, got my GP to prescribe and when it starts to rumble I take one and normally it doesn't come to anything - thank goodness. Thanks for sharing your workspace. Best wishes, Kym xxx (WOYWW No 36)
