WOYWW - and sunday and monday and tuesday...

My desk has been pretty much like this since Sunday when I was working on my scrapbook (see post before this one  if you're interested).  Having been very busy and worked late Monday and then tired with Mrs Mojo noticeably absent on Tuesday I haven't done anything for a couple of days which is very unlike me.  This is pretty much a follow on from last week as it's the next just finished pages of my scrapbook that I mentioned before that occupy my desk - along with an assortment of tools and mess. Included on these pages is a mention of WOYWW as they are dedicated to my blog.  You can also just spy a pic of my OH  at lands End and my adorable great nephew looking cool in his shades on the back wall, I think they are left over photos that didn't make it onto a scrapbook page!

While Browsing WOYWW last week I came across a comment by someone - and I'm really sorry I can't remember who, who had lost and then found the cover to her Tim Holtz scissors. Now I can relate to this having done the same myself many times so decided to try and help the situation and got my alcohol inks to it in the hope that looking for a bright purple top will be easier that a colourless one! I'll let you know if it works!

Quick Drawer update too - Spyder asked if we'd seen inside these drawers I'm trying to perk up - and the answer is no, so have left a couple open  to allow a little peek inside (they house my wooden stamp collection)...managed to get them all painted now and experimented with a little crackle paint on one...but then got stuck with what to do next...any ideas ?
Oh and for those who looked in last week - Wedding Invite news is that my dizzy friend has 140 guests on her list - but didn't account for the fact that a lot of those make up couples so the request for invites has pretty much halved...phew,  that's a relief  (might be posting a preview soon as beginning to play with designs)

Thanks for passing by..I'm looking  forward to a nosey Weds eve and if you want to join in head over to Julia's stamping ground where it all begins !!  Esther xx

  5. Glad to hear about the wedding invites. I think Julia thought of that, too. I am in awe of your wooden drawers. I swear you have more stamps in the three drawers that are open than I own! If your stamps have a theme, you might try putting a few images on each drawer front that signify what stamps (or type) are inside. However, not sure how busy that would make the whole set. Love them, regardless. Great storage idea. Happy WOYWW.

  18. Relief at the invitations! I have a fair few brides who've done that to me!! Your desk is fascinating - the LOS are just fabby. I think summer and heat generally make us a little more mojo-less, I know after a work day I just wanna sit in the garden and chill.
