Wall Hangings at The Mirror Crack'd

Hi everyone, It's time for the October Challenge over at The Mirror Crack'd where we have a Tic Tac Toe board (see below) to inspire you along with the main theme of Wall Hangings. I love that being on this design team is challenging me to try new things and this is my first attempt at a Wall Hanging.

If you want to do a wall hanging then you do NOT need to do any of the other squares but you can choose a line that runs through the centre for additional inspiration if you want to. Or you could pick any of the lines around the outside of the square and miss out the wall hanging altogether. If you do use the Tic, Tac, Toe, please tell us in your post which line you have used.

We are thrilled to be sponsored by
With a prize of £12.00 to spend at your favourite Woodware Stockist, either in store or on line.

For my wall hanging I started with an oval wooden blank which I painted with acrylic paint. Once that was dry I built layers of printed tissue paper, stamping, and texture paste mixed with perfect pearls applied through a stencil.
The flowers are Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die cuts, painted with acrylic paint over which I applied Distress Crackle paint in rock candy for texture and Stickles glitter glue.
The quotation is stamped onto sticky back canvas and edged with Gellato which I've gone over with my water brush.  Don't forget to pop over and see the beautiful samples from my team mates and I hope you feel inspired to join our challenge.
